This product is a colorless, tasteless, non-toxic transparent liquid. With viscosity of 50-1800000, flash point > 300 ℃, high flash point, low freezing point, good hydrophobicity and thermal stability, high and low temperature resistance, it has high shear resistance and can be used for a long time under the temperature of - 50~200 ℃. Silicone oil has low surface tension, high compressibility, good shear resistance, low viscosity temperature coefficient and low dielectric loss; Electric arc, corona, nonflammable; It is hydrophobic and moistureproof, and has good physiological inertia and chemical stability.
It is widely used in electrical insulation, lubrication, shock and moisture resistance, demoulding, defoaming, damping, rolling, dust prevention, heat carrier, hydraulic oil, automotive care agent, paint, glass glue, medicine, high-end daily cosmetics, industry, etc.
Application field:
1. Application in electromechanical industry
Dimethyl silicone oil is widely used in motors, electrical appliances and electronic instruments as insulation medium with temperature resistance, arc corona resistance, corrosion resistance, moisture resistance and dust prevention. At present, it is also used as impregnant for scanning transformers of transformers, capacitors and televisions. In various precision machinery, instruments and meters, it is used as liquid shock proof and damping materials. The shock absorption performance of dimethyl silicone oil is less affected by temperature, and it is mostly used in instruments such as aircraft and automobile instruments under the situation of strong mechanical vibration and large change of ambient temperature. It is used for shockproof, damping, stabilizing instrument readings, and can also be used as a liquid spring in the landing device of the aircraft.
2. As defoamer
As defoamer, dimethyl silicone oil has low surface tension and is insoluble in water, animal and vegetable oils and high boiling point mineral oils. It has good chemical stability and is non-toxic. It has been widely used as defoamer in petroleum, chemical industry, medical treatment, pharmacy, food processing, textile, printing and dyeing, paper making and other industries. As long as 10-100ppm silicone oil is added, it has good defoamer effect.
3. As mold release agent
As a release agent, it is not sticky with rubber, plastic, metal, etc., but also used as a release agent for the molding of various rubber and plastic products and in precision casting. It is not only convenient for demoulding, but also makes the surface of products clean, smooth and clear
4. Apply insulating, dustproof and mildewproof coating
Dip a layer of dimethyl silicone oil on the surface of glass and ceramics as insulating, dust-proof and mildew resistant coatings, and form a semi permanent waterproof, mildew resistant and insulating film after heat treatment at 250-300 ℃. The insulating performance of the device can be improved by treating the insulating device; the lens and prism can be prevented from mildewing by treating the optical instrument; When the medicine bottle is handled, the preservation period of the medicine can be prolonged, and the preparation will not be lost due to sticking to the wall; It can be used to treat the surface of film, which can play a lubricating role, reduce friction, and extend film life.
5. As lubricant
Dimethyl silicone oil is suitable for lubricating rubber, plastic bearings and gears. It can also be used as a lubricant for rolling friction between steel and steel at high temperature, or for friction between steel and other metals. However, methyl silicone oil is not particularly good at room temperature, so it is generally not recommended as a lubricant between metals at room temperature
6. As additive
Dimethyl silicone oil can be used as an additive for many materials. For example, it can be used as a brightener of paint. Adding a small amount of silicone oil to the paint can prevent the paint from floating and wrinkling and improve the brightness of the paint film. Adding a small amount of silicone oil to the ink can improve the printing quality. Adding a small amount of silicone oil to the polishing oil (such as automobile polish) can increase brightness, protect the paint film, and have excellent waterproof effect.
7. Application in medical and health care
Dimethyl silicone oil has no toxicity to human body and is not decomposed by body fluids, so it is also widely used in medical and health undertakings. With its antifoaming effect, it has been made into oral gastrointestinal distension relieving tablets, pulmonary edema antifoaming aerosol and other medicines. Adding silicone oil to the ointment can improve the penetration of the drug to the skin and improve the efficacy. Some plasters with silicone oil as base oil have good effects on scalds, dermatitis, bedsores, etc. Using the anticoagulant effect of silicone oil, it can be used to treat the surface of the blood reservoir and extend the storage time of blood samples. It can also be used as a wet lubricant for condoms, and it does not kill sperm.
8. Other aspects
Dimethyl silicone oil has many other uses. For example, its high flash point, odorless, colorless, transparent, non-toxic to human body and other characteristics are used as the heat carrier in oil bath or thermostat in steel, glass, ceramics and other industries and scientific research. It can be used as hydraulic oil, especially aviation hydraulic oil, because of its good shear resistance. It can eliminate static electricity and improve the quality of drawing by treating rayon spinning head. Adding silicone oil to cosmetics can improve the moisturizing and protective effects on skin, etc.
Packaging, storage, transportation and precautions:
