Mold silica gel series
1、 Product features and application fields:
Mold silicone rubber can be divided into addition and condensation type. SR series is a room temperature vulcanized condensed mold rubber. It has excellent fluidity, demoulding property, weather resistance, easy operation, and the vulcanization time and operation time can be adjusted as required. It can be deeply vulcanized, with stable mold size, heat resistance, chemical resistance, good physical properties, and high tear resistance. It is especially used for unsaturated polyester products, with good durability and long service life of the mold. BQ series are additive mold adhesives, which have the characteristics of good transparency, easy deep curing, and small shrinkage.
The silicone rubber soft mold made of SR series mold glue is mainly used for mass manufacturing of handicrafts, furniture parts, lighting parts and other decorative products made of unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, polyurethane resin, gypsum and paraffin. It can also be used for leather printing, transfer printing glue head and other elastic products. BQ series mold glue is mainly used in the production of precision molds and fine reproductions.
2、 Usage
(1) Model selection
Sr series mold rubber is room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber, which uses moisture in the air to vulcanize and releases ethanol at the same time. Therefore, the relative humidity and temperature of the environment have a greater impact on the operation time and vulcanization time of silicone rubber. SR series mold rubber is platinum catalyzed addition vulcanized silicone rubber. The higher the ambient temperature, the shorter the vulcanization time. Models for common molding: SR-1010, SR-788, SR-799, SR-577, SR-6301, SR-6302, mainly used for unsaturated polyester resin:
1. SR-1010 has low hardness, high elongation and good toughness. It is used in the mold making method of wrapping or pouring mold, and is easy to remove the mold. 100~350CS methyl silicone oil can be added for 1~5% to reduce the viscosity and hardness so as to better pour and remove the mold. It is mainly used for candle mold.
2. SR-788 is a high-end product with neutral hardness. It has high elongation and good toughness. It can be used for filling mold and sheet mold of small products. For example, it is recommended to add 1-5% petroleum dilution to the filling mold.
3. SR-799 neutral hardness, mainly used for the production of brush coating die, can also add 100~350CS methyl silicone oil 5~10% for mold filling.
4. SR-577 has high hardness and does not deform. It is mainly used for making brush coating die and plane die.
5. SR - 6301 has neutral hardness and good resistance to burning. It is mainly used for products with high requirements for resistance to burning, such as resin products with high heat generated by shaking hollow.
6. SR-6302 has low hardness and is usually called shoe mold glue in the industry, which is mainly used in shoe mold factories.
7. BQ-6303, hardness 40 degrees, heating molding is required for addition molding, product characteristics: very low shrinkage, mainly used to make precision molds

2、 Packaging
SR series products are packed in 27 liter iron drums with a net weight of 25 kg, and hardeners are packed in 1 liter plastic bottles with a net weight of 0.75 kg or as required by customers. BQ series products are packed in 20 liter iron drums with a net weight of 20 kg, and hardeners are packed in 1 liter plastic bottles or iron cans with a net weight of 1 kg or as required by customers
3、 Storage and transportation
1. Store in a cool and dry place and avoid long-term storage. Transport as non dangerous goods.
2. Avoid contact of SR series product hardener with skin. In case of contact, wipe it off with a cloth and clean it with soap and water.
3. Please read the Material Safety Manual (DSDS) of the product carefully before use.
4、 Precautions
1. SR series products contain some fillers. If they are stored for a long time, the fillers may sink to the bottom. Please mix them as well as possible before use. Hardener contact with air is easy to cause hydrolysis. Please timely cover the unused bottle of hardener.
2. Because the temperature will affect the curing speed of silicone rubber of the mold, the amount of hardener can be appropriately changed from 1.5-3.0% according to the temperature. When the temperature is low, please try to keep the ambient temperature of silicone rubber of the mold at 20C - 30 ° C, so that it can be vulcanized completely.
3. During the use of addition silicone rubber, try to avoid contact with the following substances: compounds containing nitrogen, sulfur and phosphorus, and organic metal compounds, such as sulfur containing rubber and lubricating mineral oil, room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber and PVC containing organic tin, epoxy resin containing amine curing agent, isocyanate in polyurethane, etc
