Imported hydroxyethyl cellulose
1. AkzoNobel hydroxyethyl cellulose is a non-ionic water-soluble cellulose ether with enhanced enzyme resistance. It can improve the consistency, stability and water retention of water-based products.
performance:
Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ is a high viscosity grade of ethyl hydroxyethyl cellulose.
physical property:
Properties of aqueous solution:
application:
Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ is specially used for stone like paint. Through testing and comparison, the water resistance is better than that of competitive products.
Small addition of Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ can reduce the cost of coating formulation and improve the scrub resistance.
Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ is used as thickener and stabilizer of emulsion paint, especially when the storage viscosity is high and the construction viscosity is low. The dosage is generally 0.2 - 0.7% of the total paint weight.
Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ is easy to disperse in cold water with PH value less than or equal to 7, but it is easy to agglomerate in alkaline liquid. Therefore, generally prepare the solution for standby, or use weak acid water or organic solution to prepare slurry, or dry mix it with other granular materials.
The dissolution time after dispersion is affected by the PH value of the solution. Alkaline additives can be used to accelerate dissolution.
Packaging and storage:
Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ is packed in a multi-layer paper bag with a polyethylene bag sandwiched in the middle. The net weight is 20 kg (about 44 lbs). Empty bags can be reused or burned. The Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ can be stored for several years in the unopened original bag, but the moisture content in Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ will be affected by the air humidity after opening.
When the temperature is higher than 250 ° C (480 ° F), the Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ will carbonize. At high temperatures or in contact with open flames, the Bermocoll EBS 481 FQ will slowly burn down like all cellulose.
